Dr. Ekaterina Buyko finished her PhD supervised by Prof. Ted Briscoe (University of Cambridge) and Prof. Dr. Udo Hahn (Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena) with a dissertation titled "Event Extraction from Biomedical Texts Using Trimmed Dependency Graphs"
The ongoing BMBF JenAge project was approved for its second phase and the JULIE Lab is looking forward to continue contributing during the next two years.
The EU MANTRA project had its kick-off in Zürich.
